The new organisers of Notting Hill Carnival invited me to the Press Launch at The Tabernacle (W11 2AY) to experience the sights, sounds and tastes of the iconic street Carnival that was started in 1966. The highlights of the 2018 events include even more special areas for families as children are the main focus of this year’s London Carnival. What’s wonderful about Notting Hill Carnival is that you truly feel the hard work that the local community brings to the streets of London.

After 20 years living in London, I finally managed to visit Buckingham Palace as part of a press preview aimed at attracting more families to interactively explore the residence of Her Majesty the Queen. I have to admit that I did not expect it to be as glamorous and majestic as it is. My 11 year old son Diego loved listening to the family tailored app and participating in all activities available throughout the visit and told me that he would rate this visit 9/10 which is a very high score for a child who has seen most Royal Palaces and done lots of London attractions. He truly enjoyed himself and was able to tell me many facts about the royal residence at the end of it.
