On Tuesday 20th August London Mums Magazine attended a Roald Dahl Twits -themed afternoon tea which was like stepping into a world of pure imagination. From the moment you arrive, you’re transported into a whimsical wonderland that brilliantly captures the spirit of Dahl’s beloved stories. Hosted at the iconic London Marriott Hotel County Hall, the afternoon was filled with nostalgia, mischief, and deliciously quirky treats inspired by one of Dahl’s most delightfully grotesque tales, The Twits.
The Twits by Roald Dahl is a classic children’s book that showcases Dahl’s unique blend of dark humour, imaginative storytelling, and memorable characters. Published in 1980, the book is a short but impactful read that leaves a lasting impression on both young readers and adults.

On Saturday 20th July 2024, London Mums Magazine was invited to the Chessington World of Adventures Summer Festival. We got a sneak peek at the fun activities on offer, which included a live musical performance of Seatopia inspired by the sea and its magical creatures on the Mane Stage, a Silent Disco on the Mini Stage, and a DJ battle at Adventure Point.
