Io Capitano is a touching movie that tells the story of two teenagers from Senegal who want to find a better life in Europe. They go on a dangerous journey through the Sahara Desert and across the Mediterranean Sea. The film shows the hard reality faced by migrants. It will be released in the UK on 5th April 2024 and is a mix of real-life events and some magical elements.
