This week, London Mums Magazine‘s young reporters got to review Transformers: The Rise of The Beasts, an upcoming American science fiction action film from the Transformers franchise.
Optimus Prime and the Autobots take on their biggest challenge yet. When a new threat capable of destroying the entire planet emerges, they must team up with other Transformers known as the Maximals to save Earth.
The Autobots are one of the primary factions in the Transformers mythos. They usually find themselves defending both their own race and other species against the Decepticons and upholding justice and freedom throughout the galaxy. They are considered “the good guys” in most, but not in all Transformers stories. The Decepticons are the main antagonists in the universe of the Transformers, headed by Megatron. Both Autobots and Decepticons have “sparks”, which function as souls and contain their minds and personality.
If it’s not ‘money’ that gives you power it’s a ‘key’ not any key but the Transwarp Key which has the ability to operate a machine that allows anyone to travel through time and space through a portal opened from another planet. Optimus Primal and the Maximals were the ones in charge of keeping the Transwarp Key safe from Unicron, who was known to eat planets. Humans come together with the Transformers to save their planets.
The film is directed by Steven Caple Jr. and is the seventh instalment in the Transformers film series. It stars Anthony Ramos as Noah Diaz and Dominique Fishback as Elena Wallace.
The movie is set in 1994 Brooklyn and follows Noah, an ex-military electronics expert, and Elena, an artefact researcher, as they are swept up in a battle between the Autobots and Decepticons on Earth.

The verdict
We gave it a 7/10 although visually good to watch the plot was weak with no background depth. The background music was enjoyable.
