Talking Pictures: Christian Bale on The Big Short

It’s business as usual on the latest edition of Talking Pictures, after all those awards announcements last week. Comedy The Big Short, which is in the running for this year’s Oscars and BAFTAs, is the new release to watch out for and one of its stars, Christian Bale, talks about his role in the movie. And there’s another comedy out this week, the smaller British offering, Lost In Karastan.

London Mums’ resident film critic, Freda Cooper, also takes a look at 1959 classic, Hiroshima Mon Amour, which makes its debut on DVD and there’s true-life mountaineering drama in Everest. Plus there’s the new top five at the British box office and the week’s movie news.

Your essential guide to the movies is packed into just 20 minutes and it’s available on iTunes, TuneIn and right here:

Don’t forget, you can keep up to date with Talking Pictures by liking the official Facebook page and following Freda on Twitter, @TheCoopsReview.
