From 19th–25th November, hundreds of aubergines will be hiding within a half-mile of all 28 The Real Greek restaurants — from London to Liverpool, Brighton to Birmingham. Spot one with an official tag, march it into your nearest restaurant, and you’ll get a Smoky Aubergine Grill Plate for free. Simple, right?
But here’s where it gets really juicy: one golden aubergine is hiding somewhere in the UK, and the lucky finder will score free Greek food for life. Yes, really — a weekly aubergine dish on the house, forever. Consider it the ultimate “mums’ lunch club” upgrade.
Why all this fuss about aubergines, you ask? This humble veggie is a star of Greek cuisine, from baked moussaka classics to grilled mezze hits. The Real Greek’s new Smoky Aubergine Souvlaki Grill gives it a modern, flame-grilled twist — rich, smoky, and oh-so-delicious, with a vegan option too.
