From A Distance www.fromadistance.org offers a choice of specially selected courses that you can study anywhere in the world, at your own time and at your own pace. You may wish to start a new business that fits around your family life, change careers or just study for personal pleasure. Many of our courses are accredited with a National Awarding body and students will receive a Diploma on completion. The courses we offer include Child Psychology, Counselling, Mediation, Hypno Birth, Well Being, Life Coaching.
All courses assume no prior knowledge and you will have full tutor support. Many of the courses include information on how to set up a practice including marketing, how to develop your business, networking, Professional bodies, etc. For students who would like to work Professionally we also offer Workshops throughout the year so you can practice your skills and meet like minded people. For many mums working around family life is essential but it doesn’t mean you can’t have a worthwhile and rewarding career too. As a mum of 5 myself I know how difficult it can be! You can begin working just a few hours each week and develop your practice as your time allows. Many of our students are mums who find the flexibility of working for themselves an exciting prospect.
