Photography basics FREE online course

Welcome to our first photography basics blog post at London Mums. Every other week we’ll be going through some photo fundamentals to help you go from shooting everything in blind automatic mode to awesome photographer (or close enough).

To compliment these posts we also have a fortnightly weekly photo challenge. Every other week we’ll set a theme and your homework for the week is to go out and take the best images you can. Feel free to start the challenge when you are ready and dip in and out of the idea when you choose.

We are always more than happy to answer any questions you may have or if there are any specific requests in terms of subjects you’d like us to cover then please drop us an email at info@memorygate.co.uk or find us on Twitter @memorygate

We also want to see your images so feel free to email them to us and we can even do a post giving you some creative and technical advice.

Being full time professional photographers we are pretty much up to date with the latest technology so if you were considering buying a camera or lens or anything else and didn’t know where to start then let us know and we’ll point you in the right direction.

We are hoping have some training events in the future so the best thing to do is to subscribe to our mailing list and we’ll let you know when we have something coming soon.
