Clarks:
London Mums’ first choice of shoes for school in 2011

Renapur Leather Balsam: the best beeswax to clean and waterproofs all the kids’ shoes in seconds. Made with natural, beeswax and jojoba oil, Renapur Leather Balsam cleans, conditions and waterproofs shoes all at once. It is suitable for all colours of leather. Looking after shoes is a much more economical and environmentally-friendly option than buying expensive new pairs. Renapur Leather Balsam is also ideal for leather furniture, car interiors, equestrian equipment, motorcycle leathers, handbags and belts. RRP £12 for 200ml and can be purchased from www.renapur.com or by phone on 0800 993 0129.

Colouring: London Mums’ first choice of colouring products MUST BE Bic® Kids particularly the new range Bic® Kids Colour & Erase Pens which are really great fun for kids and …. for mums 🙂 The new erasable felt tip pen allows you to produce drawings and correct your colouring mistakes. There is a FUN video showing the “creative potential” of these colours… Watch it now on You Tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BxOvGVZBzM4. During the summer a group of mummy bloggers from across the UK (including myself and our London Mumpreneur Rita Kobrak) met at the Ritz for a glam high tea hosted by Bic Kids and an interesting discussion on the relationship between mums and being creative.

Stabilo pens: I recently tested the latest Stabilo pen for handwriting and I loved it. My 5 year old son starting year 1 in a few days was not keen to write his summer diary with regular pens but when I gave him the Stabilo pen (also erasable) he could not stop writing and found it fun to make mistakes and erase them he went along. We probably need to buy a few more Stabilo pens for the whole family to avoid conflicts 🙂 Handwriting evokes such great memories and personally it makes me more creative compared to writing on the computer. I may be from the old school but I still find pleasure in writing on paper. Check our tips on handwriting:

PENCIL CASES: Clintons has budget themed pencil cases and is offering 3-for-2 on all back to school range (whilst stocks last).

Mini – Micro Scooter: London Mums’ favourite medium of transport to go to school in 2011. Read our feature on ‘Health and the School Run – The Facts’.
