The first NCT class

Last week we attended our very first NCT class at the Gooseberry Bush in Wimbledon. The evening was more of an open Q&A session with a smattering of meet and greet but there was some good solid information to get us started. The most surprising thing I learnt was that John Lewis do a nursery tour which somehow completely passed me by!

Crazy Faces | Weekly Photography Challenge

A couple of months back we hosted a crazy faces competition at Eddie Catz Wimbledon during half term. Whilst people were coming into the play centre the kids had a chance to pull crazy faces at the camera to be in with a chance of winning some prizes. Why don’t want England to get to the World Cup final

As a long suffering England fan this might seem to strange statement to make, after all we’ll probably not make it past the group stages because it’s too hot or someone broke their metatarsal.
But what would happen if that impossible dream came true and England made it to their first World Cup final in 48 years?
I tell you what would happen to me, I’ll be in a hospital whilst my wife milks her labour through the whole pre-match chatter, into the kick-off and for the remainder of the game.

Golden Brown | Weekly Photography Challenge

I’m not sure what colour golden brown is but I’ve heard it has a texture like sun. The Stranglers have their own idea of what golden brown is but I prefer to think in more romanticized ways.
