The wait is over… and it was worth it!
After 19 incredible years, London Mums Magazine and website londonmumsmagazine.com have had a full makeover – our biggest relaunch ever! Can you believe it’s been nearly two decades? In 2026, London Mums will officially turn 20 – cue the confetti (and maybe a few happy tears).
What started back in September 2006 – when I founded London Mums after my son Diego’s birth with a small group of mums looking to share the laughter and chaos of motherhood – has grown into a wonderful, multicultural community of parents and families all over London.
We’ve been together through sleepless nights, school runs, and start-ups, and we’ve built something truly special: a free, independent network for mums and mumpreneurs that’s still going strong.
So, here’s to fresh beginnings, a shiny new look, and another fabulous year of friendship, support, and laughter.
Another year twirls to its sparkly close,
And here we are – glitter in our hair, tea in hand,
Juggling lists, wrapping wishes,
and dreaming of a nap before Christmas Eve (if only!).
But pause for a breath – this one’s for you.
For the strong mamas and kind dreamers,
The ones who laugh through the chaos
And find beauty in the bedtime mess.
This festive issue is our gift of joy –
A little magazine magic tied with ribbon and love.

To Tuscia, Italy’s secret heart,
Where the shimmering Lake Bolsena mirrors the sky,
And I retreat each summer to write, dream, and swim.
There, the bells of the borgo sing at dawn,
Gelato drips joy in pistachio shades,
And at night, disco lights sparkle on the lake
While love songs float through the air like confetti.
It’s my happy place – and I share it with you,
From my family to yours, with sunshine and soul.
So, mums – this season, remember:
You are the heartbeat of your home,
The keeper of stories, the bringer of light.
Take time to glow as brightly as the fairy lights,
To sip something warm, to laugh out loud,
And to believe, just like your children do,
That magic is real – especially at Christmas.
