Supernanny Jo Frost’s Confident Toddler Care: The Ultimate Guide to the Toddler Years

Supernanny star Jo Frost is without a doubt the UK’s most trusted nanny. In this book released in July 2011 she shares her tips to help raise toddlers with confidence and give them the best start in life.

The manual is packed with practical advice, reassurance and simple yet effective techniques to help parents deal with all the challenges that raising a toddler involves. I enjoyed reading this book although my son is now almost 5. Everything that Jo says makes such good sense in general so many tips are applicable to school children.

Jo’s suggestions are very practical and simple to implement so anyone can actually manage to educate their children following her no-nonsense recommendations. She addresses common battlegrounds, such as mealtimes, dressing, sleeping, behavioural issues and potty training, and takes you step-by-step through her tried-and-tested techniques to deal with them simply, patiently and effectively.

The book includes also a practical guide to recognise and tackle common illnesses kids may encounter during the toddler and the early school years which is priceless and I never found in one place before.

London Mums dilemmas will be tackled by Jo Frost in the London Mums magazines from issue 5 out mid October 2011. Watch this space!!!
