Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the highly anticipated sequel to the groundbreaking film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, is out in UK cinemas today. Great family film for the last weekend of half-term.

While it boasts stunning animation and a fantastic soundtrack, the film falls short in terms of its thin and stagnant plot. However, it still manages to capture the essence of the Spider-Verse and offers a visual spectacle that is a feast for the eyes.

Dear London Mums

This month I realised how much I love this city and its people! Is it maybe because it looks at its best with all these Union Jack flags and clean streets? Or maybe I am just infatuated with this buzzing metropole? I am Italian so patriotic flags waving has never really been my thing. Neither I have been a royalist by any mean and I have never particularly liked all these expressions of love to the Royal Family.

Zippos circus is back. Children need to be entertained so off we all went last week – three mums and 5 children – to a large car park on the outskirts of Brent Cross Shopping Centre for a good old fashioned trip to the circus.

Dear London Mums

Wow it’s already 2012, the year we have been waiting for for years, the year of the London Olympics and of the Diamond Jubilee to mark 60 years of The Queen’s reign. Have a wonderful year filled with joy, health, happy mummies and children and lots of sport! Let it be the year where we are all motivated to do more sport to be fitter and healthier. Let it not just be empty new year’s resolutions.
