It doesn’t matter if you’re self-employed, a working parent, single, married, with or without children, young or old – Mondays can still feel like a drag. Ultimately, it’s all about perspective and attitude.  Every action and thought can be improved with a positive perspective and attitude.

We often underestimate the power of these phrases to help us laugh or move on from something we really shouldn’t let bring us down. It’s your life, and you need to enjoy it and let go of toxic situations.

Happy Valentine’s Day – The playlist

Valentine’s Day doesn’t need to be just for couples in love.  I think of it as an opportunity to tell people I love that I DO love them and appreciate them for being in my life and loving me.  This includes neighbours, people in my community, people I work with, my friends and family.  It’s such a small world and we need to take care of each other.  One of my favourite things I learnt from a YouTube video was how small things can make someone day.  In this particular video, a girl bought 12 roses and handed them out to strangers on her way home to people of all ages and backgrounds.  I did it and my favourite comment was “I feel like I’ve just been knighted”.  Everyone loved it and felt special – so did I.
