Cocktails & Street Food at Underbelly Festival Earl’s Court

On Thursday 12th of May London Mums attended Cocktails & Street Food at Underbelly Festival in Earl’s Court. This is a one stop place for great street food and quality live entertainment. Whether you like comedy Stand-up to a bit of Circus or a Musical, this event offers you a mixture of live entertainment, amazing outdoor bars, and premium street food.

The iconic Upside Down Purple Cow, Udderbelly, has well and truly arrived at Earls Court and is situated in prime position. You will get to enter the ‘Udderbelly’ and watch various acts throughout this summer.

The variety of street food is mixed-up offering different cuisines from traditional Fish & Chips, Neapolitan Pizzas, and Premium Steak Sandwiches accompanied with various alcoholic drinks and cocktails.

We chose a portion of traditional Fish & Chips and a Neapolitan special pizza drizzled with olive oil, home grown rocket leaves and freshly chopped cherry tomatoes.

LondonMums al fresco dining verdict was how delicious both dishes were. From chunky double fried chips to crispy battered fish that melted in your mouth. The stone baked pizza with a crispy thin base base, golden crust and mouth watering toppings. Both dishes were washed down with a Aperol Sptitz Cocktail and a traditional glass of English Pimms.

After our food experience we then went on to watch live stand up comedy.

Our entertainment for the evening was Thaniya Moore. This lady is multi talented not only is she a comedian she’s also a writer, actress, presenter and voice over artist. There were many laughs through out the show as Thaniya shared personal experiences about her childhood. She interacted with the audience and shared hilarious anecdotes.

We got to meet her at the end of the show, take photos, and on a personal note she was very kind and happy to talk to the public. What a content human being.

My only downside to the event was the lack of people and that was possibly because we attended on a Thursday night. That lack of a crowd just didn’t create an atmosphere and made my night a little flat.

It was still a lovely al fresco evening with live entertainment.
