The Copacabana show at The London Cabaret Club is a kaleidoscope of colour, rhythm, and pure carnival joy — an immersive Rio-inspired experience that captures the golden glamour of Brazil in the heart of Bloomsbury. Running until 27 September 2025, it’s not just a performance, but a full sensory journey that combines dazzling choreography, live Latin music, fine dining, and theatrical storytelling into one unforgettable night.

From the moment guests step into the opulent art deco Bloomsbury Ballroom, they’re transported to another world – where feathers, sequins, and tropical beats reign supreme. The evening opens with cocktails on a beach-themed terrace before the ballroom doors reveal a paradise of samba, merengue, and cha-cha. Tables are arranged cabaret-style, offering diners front-row seats to the action, while dancers swirl around the room in a blur of colour and energy.

The costumes are a true feast for the eyes – elaborate, jewel-toned creations adorned with crystals, tassels, and plumes that shimmer under the strobe lights. Each act brings a new palette: gold and emerald for Rio’s carnival spirit, flamingo pinks and turquoise for the beach scenes, and sleek black and gold for the New York finale. The attention to detail in every headdress and bejewelled corset evokes the grandeur of vintage Vegas shows, yet with a distinctly Latin flair.

The live band provides the heartbeat of the evening – percussion, horns, and guitar blending seamlessly with powerhouse vocals in renditions of The Girl from Ipanema, Conga, and Besame Mucho. The rhythms are intoxicating, urging even the most reserved diners to tap along as the dancers weave between tables, engaging the audience with spontaneous flair and genuine warmth.
Dining becomes part of the performance itself. As you savour dishes like Argentinian Beef Fillet or Seared Salmon with zesty citrus, dancers glide past your table, and the air fills with the scent of exotic cocktails and the pulse of samba drums. The menu, curated by Head Chef Burim Aslannaj, complements the show’s energy — vibrant, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Signature drinks such as the Copacabana (a tropical blend of cachaça, pineapple, and mango) and the mezcal-based Jaguar’s Gaze add to the sense of indulgence.
Creative Director Doni Fierro’s vision is evident in every beat and costume change. His choreography blends traditional Latin steps with contemporary flair, ensuring the show feels both timeless and current. The cast — a mix of international dancers, singers, and musicians — exudes infectious joy and precision. Their passion transforms the ballroom into a living, breathing carnival, where audience and performers share the same rhythm.
The night culminates in a euphoric after-party, with the performers inviting guests to join them on the dance floor beneath a cascade of confetti and neon lights. By the end, everyone seems swept up in the collective spirit of celebration — a true embodiment of alegría de vivir.
Tickets start from £42, offering an evening that seamlessly combines theatre, dining, and dance into an escapist celebration of life and music. For those seeking a slice of Rio without leaving London, Copacabana is the summer’s most dazzling destination.
