Family activities: FREE kids cricket and great food at Sixes

After such a long lockdown, we are eager to get out as a family to enjoy alternative entertainment other than watching movies at home. At SIXES CRICKET CLUB, the world’s first Cricket Simulator that allows you to play cricket like a pro, families can practice cricket whilst enjoying great food and drink, not least because the founders are Calum and Andy from the critically acclaimed, Mac and Wild restaurant.

SIXES will reopen a spanking new venue in Fitzrovia at the end of May but in the meantime their Fulham venue is partially open both for al fresco dining and for kids to come and enjoy a free bat.

In recognition of lockdown robbing children of their sporting freedoms, SIXES FULHAM’S doors are wide open to children wanting to catch up on some sporting fun, meaning families can come and take a net for free whenever they want. All that is requested is that, if possible, a donation of your choice is made to the Ruth Strauss Foundation – a charity set up by former England Captain, Sir Andrew Strauss in honour of his late wife who died of a very rare lung cancer.

All are welcome to enjoy the great food and drink on offer which can be served on their al fresco terrace, it is a great few hours out for freedom starved children (and adults ) alike!

Menu consists of contemporary twists on gastro-pub inspired classics utilising fantastic British produce. Dishes include sausage rolls, prawn cocktail cups, Dorset cider steamed mussels, lemon fried chicken with kiev butter dip and classic Eton mess.
