London Mums party at Ferdinand-themed Fiesta Latina at the top of the Shard

To celebrate the DVD release of Ferdinand, a group of London Mums and children from the Kids’ Club attended an exclusive event at The View from The Shard during the Easter holidays. No need to say that that the views were un-bull-ievable. Ah Ah! Although the private is over, The View from The Shard have teamed up with the friendliest bull in town, Ferdinand, and have created exciting decorations and entertainment for all the herd. London’s tallest attraction is currently hosting a range of fun-filled activities, all FREE with a general admissions ticket. Children and adults alike can take part in a Ferdinand-inspired treasure hunt to help find his favourite flowers, and spot some of London’s most iconic landmarks along the way! Personally for me the view is enough to keep me busy with my camera. But typically the kids want more…

There’s face painting avail-a-bull and every hour guests can expect their own mini ‘fiesta’ where children will be invited to join a dance workshop, to release their wild side, with prizes to be won!

This special Ferdinand floral display is situated in front of the window of the attractions open-air sky-deck, creating the perfect photo opportunity to help guests smell the flowers with love-a-bull Ferdinand, whilst enjoying un-bull-lievable panoramic views of the capital! I had to take my own selfie here!

Whilst here families can also take on ‘The Slide’, an adrenaline-fuelled 360-degree virtual reality experience that swoops and slides through the city’s skyline.

The hair-raising journey takes you on an extreme multi-sensory journey where The Shard becomes a helter-skelter! I did not want to do these because for me the view is good enough entertainment but for the bravest ones this was a popular additional activity.

Grown Ups entertained themselves with a glass of Moët & Chandon from London’s highest champagne bar 800ft above the capital whilst enjoying views of up to 40 miles. This is certainly the London bar with the best view of the Capital. Even the toilets have their own stunning views!

A room with a view!
