PAW PATROL: THE DINO MOVIE hits cinemas August 5 (Cert U), backed by two major family activities: a free Dino Hunt Trail at Westfield White City on August 1-2, and the UK’s first PAW Patrol-themed land, now open at Chessington World of Adventures.
The Dino Hunt Trail invites young explorers to channel their inner Chase, Marshall and Skye, hunting clues across Westfield White City with Hamleys, The Works, Vue, Primark, The Entertainer and O2 all taking part. The adventure starts at Hamleys, where each explorer gets a PAW Patrol booklet and a starter sticker. Following paw prints store to store, they collect a hidden letter at each stop to build a secret code. Once solved, families can submit the code at Whippersnapperkids.com/dinohunt for a chance to win an exclusive prize bundle.
To mark the trail, PAW Patrol characters will greet fans at Hamleys Westfield across the weekend of August 1-2, with meet-and-greet photo sessions on the hour, every hour, for 30 minutes between 12pm and 4:30pm both days – just ahead of the film’s nationwide release on August 5.
Beyond London, the pups now have a permanent summer home: the £15 million World of PAW Patrol at Chessington World of Adventures is open. The UK’s first and only PAW Patrol-themed land recreates Adventure Bay across 1.4 acres, featuring a full-scale replica of the Lookout Tower, character meet-and-greets, themed food and retail. Four rides anchor the experience: Chase’s Mountain Mission, Skye’s Helicopter Heroes, Marshall’s Firetruck Rescue, and Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure – the UK’s first “Drifter” ride. Access is included with a standard Chessington ticket, so families can combine it with the resort’s theme park, zoo and SEA LIFE aquarium.
Between the Westfield trail, the new Chessington land, and the cinema release of PAW PATROL: THE DINO MOVIE on August 5, this is shaping up to be the pups’ biggest summer takeover yet.
