Are you looking for some nice and original winter recipes or maybe something that can be served as a side or dessert for Christmas? La Vieja Fabrica, the Seville Orange marmalade brand which is London Mums’ favourite one, has developed some delicious new recipes for the colder months. Here’s the first in a series: Soothing St Clement’s Marmalade Tea.

This is a comforting, citrus-infused black tea made with La Vieja Fábrica St Clement’s Marmalade and a slice of fresh lemon. Lightly sweet, fragrant and wonderfully warming, this simple homemade tea is perfect for slow winter mornings, chilly afternoons or a soothing evening treat.
Serves: 1
Prep Time: 2 minutes
Steep Time: 3-4 minutes
Total Time: 5-6 minutes
Ingredients
1 black tea bag, English Breakfast or Earl Grey
250ml freshly boiled water
1–2 tsp La Vieja Fábrica St Clement’s Marmalade
1 slice fresh lemon
½–1 tsp sugar, optional
Method
Place the black tea bag into a heatproof mug and pour over the freshly boiled water.
Leave to steep for 3-4 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea.
Remove the tea bag and stir in the La Vieja Fábrica St Clement’s Marmalade until dissolved and combined with the tea.
Add a slice of fresh lemon and stir gently to release its citrus flavour.
Taste and add a little sugar if desired, adjusting the sweetness to your preference.
Serve immediately while hot and fragrant.
Best enjoyed warm in your favourite mug for a comforting moment on a chilly day. Pair with a slice of toasted fruit loaf or a simple biscuit for a cosy afternoon treat.
