World Book Day is back with a bang on 6th March 2014, offering a brand new line up of ten brilliant titles from some of the nation’s top children’s and Young Adult authors and illustrators.
The biggest and best annual celebration of reading and books for young people returns for its 17th year with something for everyone, from toddlers to teens. And each of the must-reads can be picked up for FREE, using a special £1 World Book Day Book Token handed out in nurseries and schools across the country from January.
In celebration of with this year’s World Book Day we’re giving away some fantastic prizes, including all 10 of our £1 books!

My favourite book of all time is the The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien. Have still got the original book that was bought for me 40 years ago & have read it so many times. Absolutely love it.
