I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Robbie Williams three times now, but this was my first solo show experience. Previously, I attended his unforgettable reunion gig with Take That at Wembley. Robbie’s performance at BST Hyde Park was nothing short of spectacular, marked by a blend of raw emotion and pure entertainment that left me reflecting on the power of music to unite and bring peace.
Robbie took to the Great Oak Stage for a two-hour extravaganza in front of a sold-out crowd of 65,000. The energy was palpable as he kicked off with “Let Me Entertain You”, followed by “Land Of A Thousand Dances”, “Strong”, and “Come Undone”. His joy was infectious when he announced, “Thank f*** England won!” referencing England’s victory in the Euro 2024 quarter-final. The crowd erupted in cheers, a moment that perfectly captured the collective euphoria and sentimentality of the night.
