On Monday 22nd May, two of the most iconic and celebrated rock legends of all time, Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe, took the stage at Bramall Lane in Sheffield, delivering an unforgettable performance to a packed house. The energy in the air was electric as fans eagerly anticipated the arrival of these legendary bands.
Mötley Crüe was first to take the stage. With Vince Neil’s powerful vocals, Nikki Sixx’s thunderous bass, Tommy Lee’s explosive drumming, and Mick Mars’ masterful guitar playing, the band proved why they have remained a dominant force in rock for over four decades. Mötley Crüe unleashed a barrage of hits, including the adrenaline – fuelled “Kickstart My Heart”, “Girls, Girls, Girls”, “Shout at the Devil”, “The Dirt”, “Looks that kill” and amongst other favourite songs the nostalgic ballad “Home Sweet Home.” Their stage presence was unrivalled, as they pushed the visual limits of live performance and left the audience in awe.

Scott Fitzgerald’s “The Great Gatsby” continues to captivate audiences with its timeless portrayal of the roaring 20s, and Northern Ballet’s production at Sadler’s Wells in Islington, London, brings this modern classic to life on stage. With artistic Director David Nixon CBE’s exquisite choreography, opulent costumes inspired by Chanel, and a captivating score by Sir Richard Rodney Bennett CBE, this sell-out sensation is the most glamorous party in town. It’s a great night out for parents away from the children as it is recommended for an adult audience only. It’s only running between 17 and 20 May 2023 so get tickets early!
