Animation movie review: Minions & Monsters

London Mums Magazine was invited to review animation movie Minions & Monsters. I was accompanied along with 3 minions aged 8, 10 and 18, and it turned out to be a really enjoyable family film. It managed to keep both of them engaged from start to finish, despite the age difference, with plenty of laughs, exciting moments, and colourful animation.

Minions & Monsters film

The film does a good job of balancing fast-paced comedy with an entertaining story. The Minions provide lots of the humour, while the monsters add fun personalities and help keep the adventure interesting. There are also a few heartfelt moments that give the story a bit more depth without slowing it down.

It was interesting to see how each child enjoyed different aspects of the film. The 10-year-old seemed to appreciate the adventure and the story, while the 8-year-old laughed out loud at the Minions’ antics and the slapstick comedy. Both were still talking about their favourite scenes afterwards, which says a lot about how much they enjoyed it.

Overall, I’d recommend Minions & Monsters to anyone looking for a fun, family-friendly trip to the cinema. It’s entertaining for children while offering enough humour and charm to keep the adults watching too.

We at London Mums Magazine gave it a collective 7/10.
