The softest baby blanket London Mums have ever come across with a twist. The blanket does have legs and a hood too so baby is always wrapped properly. How wonderful! One of our favourite gifts for baby and mum.
The Nod Pod’s simple and versatile design keeps your little one warm and cosy whether they are in a baby carrier, car seat or a pushchair, easily accommodating straps or zips without the need for fiddly threading.
The Nod Pod also works in a moses basket or cot – keeping your baby wrapped up and warm without the need for bulky blankets. This innovative blanket is the brainchild of friends Katie Stankiste and Beth Swarbrigg who developed the Nod Pod after receiving many gifts on the birth of their children.
They noticed that whilst blankets kept baby warm, when simply draped they were easily wriggled out of and became bulky or impractical when trying to keep the little one covered in the car seat or the pram. The girls then received a homemade pressie – a baby blanket with leg pockets and a hood and realised the simple versatility of the design solved these problems – and the Nod Pod was born. The Nod Pod costs £20 and currently comes in three colours – soft blue, soft pink and winter white and size 0-6 months (6-12 months coming soon).
The blankets are made from lightweight, machine washable super soft fleece and each one comes in its own handy cotton drawstring bag. If buying as a present the Nod Pod can be gift wrapped with a personal message.
