Get ready for London’s most spellbinding family night out. London Mums Magazine is giving one lucky family the chance to experience the opening night of Halloween at Kenwood (Friday 17th October 2025 – Kenwood House, Hampstead Heath) — a brand-new illuminated Halloween trail set in the hauntingly beautiful grounds of Kenwood House, the stately home perched on the edge of Hampstead Heath.

About Halloween at Kenwood

As dusk falls over Hampstead Heath, the grand Georgian façade of Kenwood House will be transformed into a glittering, ghostly wonderland of light, sound, and spooky surprises.
From 17th October to 2nd November 2025, families, friends, and fearless explorers can wander through a glowing trail of eerie enchantment and autumn magic.

Expect to encounter:

• A laser-lit garden where beams dance through the trees in mesmerising colours

• A spider tunnel tangled with cobwebs and creepy crawlies (not for the faint-hearted)

• Selfie stocks and cages for hilarious spooky photo ops

• A Code of Shadows challenge along the trail – can you solve the clues and lift the curse of Kenwood before midnight?

And when your detective work is done, enjoy bewitched burgers, freaky fries, and hot toddies at the courtyard food stalls — or treat the kids to toffee apples and rich hot chocolate under the stars. Dogs in fancy dress are welcome too (bonus points for vampire capes or pumpkin jumpers).

Its breathtaking architecture and world-class art collection provide the perfect backdrop for this seasonal spectacle. Once home to the Earls of Mansfield, its grand façade, wooded walks, and sweeping lawns are now the stage for this immersive autumn adventure.
