Swimmingly good start to the day!

Swimmingly good! I’m going to The Design Museums exhibition called “Splash! A Century of Swimming and Style”. I am looking forward to it because I love to swim every morning.

Swimming, or any exercise, is such a fantastic way to start your day. You feel great and your all set up to face the day. All obvious factors about the the physical benefits go unsaid, but studies show that you are more likely to take better care of your health in general when you start your day with exercise.

It is the mental view of “I have started out my day healthy, I will continue”. There is the odd person who believes they deserve a huge cinnamon bun along with a super grande vanilla latte, but most people will eat healthier choices.

Other ways to stay #motivated when exercising.

If you are going to do something – do it right. Plan it like you mean to commit to doing it daily. YES, you can exercise every day! Even if it is for five minutes.

Take action – thought – feeling – emotion change circle. This is if you change one thought or feeling or emotion about a commitment to doing something like exercise, it is the first step to getting started.

Just Do It – motto

Put it in a diary!

# 1 priority to change so it becomes a natural part of your day.

Visualise yourself loosing weight, feeling better, having more energy, feeling great before you get up in the morning.

Mark success on a calendar. Keep record of success.

Reward yourself with non-food items – new exercise outfit, massage.

Have a swimmingly good day!
