After a four-year hiatus, the wonderfully unique Live at Chelsea concert series is making a grand return. And let me tell you, mums, there is simply no other open-air music venue like it in London.
From Wednesday 10th to Sunday 14th June, the magnificent, Sir Christopher Wren-designed grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea will be transformed into the capital’s most beautiful outdoor concert setting. We’re talking soaring 17th-century architecture framing the stage as the sun sets over the River Thames.

The Line-Up: An Absolute Banger for Every Night
We’ve got a star-studded, nostalgia-packed week ahead. The 2026 lineup is the kind that will have every member of the family humming along. Monica will be there with her press pass (we’re hoping!), covering the opening night and the finale, but here’s a night-by-night breakdown for you:
- Wednesday 10th June – The Night of 80s Icons: A super-charged night with Holly Johnson (Frankie Goes to Hollywood), the legendary Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet), and synth-pop stars Heaven 17.
- Thursday 11th June – Pop Royalty: Noughties icons Blue are headlining. Expect All Rise and One Love to echo across the lawns.
- Friday 12th June – Cult Legends: The brilliant and bonkers Sparks (Ron and Russell Mael) bring their critically acclaimed live show to Chelsea.
- Saturday 13th June – The Anthem Night: Get ready to walk 500 miles (well, maybe just around the grounds) as the magnificent Proclaimers take the stage.
- Sunday 14th June – American Rock Royalty: The legendary Beach Boys close out the festival with a salute to 60 years of their iconic album Pet Sounds. It will be a perfect, sunny Sunday.
More Than Just Music: A Unique London Experience
What makes this truly special is the venue. The Royal Hospital Chelsea isn’t just any park; it’s the home of the iconic Chelsea Pensioners, the scarlet-coated veterans of the British Army who have resided there since 1692. A portion of the proceeds from every ticket sold actually goes directly to supporting their ongoing care, so you can rock out knowing you’re doing a bit of good.
Our Mum’s Guide to a Smooth Night
- Gates & Timings: Gates open at 5:30pm each day, with the arena opening at 6:30pm. We’d recommend getting there early to soak up the atmosphere and grab your spot on the grass.
Who Can Come: The event is all ages. It’s a fantastic way to introduce the kids to live music in a stunning, safe environment.
Accessibility: The concert arena has a good level of accessibility. The accessible entry is via London Gate, which is a flat, wheelchair accessible route into the venue. If you require specific accommodations, check the official website for details.
Food & Drink: There will be bars and food outlets on-site, but if you want to elevate the night, look into the VIP packages. These offer premium seating right at the front, access to private bars, and even delicious BBQ food experiences that make the evening feel extra special.
Getting There: There’s no on-site public parking, so the best way to arrive is via Sloane Square station (just a 10-minute walk) or the numerous bus routes.
Live at Chelsea is an absolute gem on London’s summer calendar. It’s intimate, not overwhelming, and set in a backdrop that you simply cannot find anywhere else. Whether you’re a devoted fan of The Beach Boys or just want a fantastic night out in a beautiful setting, this is one for the diary. Tickets are selling fast, so get your skates on!
Tickets are available now via LiveAtChelsea.com. We’ll have our full review of the Tony Hadley and The Beach Boys nights right here on London Mums after the event.
